Technique: How to improve any photograph

One of the things I will not forget from photojournalism class is this. It is hands and faces that create emotion in photographs. This is something I’ve noticed more and more this year while sorting photos from each shoot. A photograph can hold much more substance by capturing emotion, and it is hands and faces that hold this emotion.
