San Francisco

Sunday, Bruce, Tric, Tommy, and I adventured through the city of San Francisco. It was a necessity for me to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge. I’ve always enjoyed photographs of cable bridges.

After visiting the bridge, we headed down Lombard street to see the popular SF curvy road. As we approached, there were many tourists crowding an intersection. It was a fun site, but we were starving, so we headed a few blocks down towards Chinatown.

After finding a place to park, we wandered down the street, searching for food. We found a block full of restaurants and gazed at their menus on the windows. We came to a place called House of Nanking. This was the best Chinese food I’ve eaten.

As we were ordering our food, we started listing a few of the vegetarian items – then the lady stopped us – “are you vegetarians? you don’t want to order from this menu – how hungry are you”? Soon after plate after plate of food arrived. Have you had Chinese food with sweet potatoes or thai basil? Me neither. You must visit House of Nanking. Now for some photos from the day:
